The next entry on the amazing franchise Final Fantasy is the 16th chapter, an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 5.
The game is set in the world of Valisthea, a land ruled by powerful magical crystals and inhabited by a variety of races including humans, dragons, and beastmen. The player takes on the role of Clive, the prince of the Kingdom of Waloed, who is on a mission to defeat the evil empire of Nilfheim and restore peace to Valisthea.
Final Fantasy 16 features fast-paced action-based combat, with players able to switch between a variety of weapons and magic abilities on the fly. The game also includes a fully-realized open world, with players able to explore a variety of landscapes and interact with a diverse cast of characters.
The game’s development was officially announced at Sony’s PlayStation 5 showcase event in September 2020. It is currently in development with release date 22/6/2023.
